when shanna told me what she wanted for her engagements i was stoked.  i absolutely love doing anything out of the ordinary.  their wedding is going to be a 50″s theme so they wanted their engagements to go along with the same theme.  we started out at a retro bowling alley in salt lake and then ended at the union station in ogden.  they brought lots of props and some totally killer outfits!  i loved it!  meet shanna and ron…

 and i got one of my pictures from holly and chad’s wedding published in the wedding album section!   mine is the bottom right picture!  yahoo!  

this is my cousins little girl ella.  isn’t she absolutely adorable!!  i had so much fun with her! she is the sweetest baby ever!  she wasnt fussy and didn’t cry at all.  we also managed to sneak in a few shots of all three of them.  let me know what you think!

you may remeber sindra from her engagements.  i am a little behind on blogging her bridals since she has already gotten married, but better late than never.  these were just to awesome not to blog!  sindra has been such an amazing bride to work with.  she is gorgeous, fun, loves to laugh and this girl knows how to pose!  she was so easy to work with and totally rocked this shoot.  we started her bridals at thanksgiving point and then went and shot around downtown salt lake before it got too dark. sindra was every photographers dream bride!  she had 2 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 bouqets and balloons. and she wasn’t even a bridezilla!!!  she is just as sweet as can be! i loved working with her and if you are reading this sindra… you better call me when you start having babies!!  haha!!  on another note, i have about 18 sessions to post so hopefully i will be able to start rolling through this week and next!  my goal is to get them all on the blog soon!

i just wanted to wish my husband a very happy birthday today.  i love him so much and he deserves nothing but the best! thank you chris for always taking care of me and the girls.  we love you so much! now you are an old man. haha!

as you can tell, i am a tad bit behind on blogging. but one way or another all of my sessions will make it here!!!  so, i shot ashley’s senior pictures back in may.  she is such a super star!  awesome story:  her and her dad rebuilt this camero together.  isn’t that so cool?  so of course we had to get some pictures with it!  also, ashley told me she watches “america’s next top model”  and i tell you what… this girl knew how to pose.  honestly i hardly gave her any direction at all. totally made my job easy!   so here is the incredible ashley

but first i wanted to mention that i am currently looking for senior reps for the 2010 school year. i am looking for 1 person girl or boy from several local schools in the area.  as a rep for amanda abel photography you will get a free senior session at the location of your choice, mulitiple outfit changes,  a high res cd of all of your images and 100 cards for you to pass on to EVERYONE you know.  for each referral you give me you will get a $25 visa card .  in order to become a senior rep for me you must join my facebook group  and send me a message telling me why you would be the perfect rep!  all reps will be chosen by august 1.  thanks and good luck to you all!!!!
