heather & jay wedding

August 28, 2008

i shot heather and jay’s wedding a while back at the ogden river parkway. it was a beautiful rainy day. it wasn’t pouring so it worked great for pictures, but it was wet enough that they had to move their beautiful garden reception under the pavillion. instead of a wedding cake they had cupcakes that were delicious and made by adventerous cakes in ogden. heather and jay were so amazing to work with. they are both so fun, down to earth and just the nicest people i have ever met. i havd the best time. everything about their wedding was absolutely beautiful! congrats you two… you deserve the best!!!

sorry everything looks so pixelated. i need to figure out what the deal is and get it fixed?!?!?! click on the picture to see what it is supposed to look like.

Brock: that was fantastulous. oh, the slideshow was pretty good, too.

Erin Langford: I got show it web today too. Just finished making a slideshow. So much fun!

Kellee Smith: How fun... I am so sad I missed David Jay's seminar. I have heard him speak before though and he is so fun to listen too. Your slideshow looks great! And, you will LOVE lightroom...

Sherry Ward: I didn't even hear about this! I totally would have gone! So let me know what you think of lightroom as I'm VERY tempted to buy!!

Brooke: love how you went with the music! you got some many different spots! whoa you must be fast :) your clients will love it

Brooke: ps I hope my comment worked...blogger can be weird!

ohana photographers-david and kimi: awesome slideshow!!!

Karen Jensen: Love the slideshow and your photography is beautiful! It's so fun to look at your work!

Haley: Fabulous slideshow! I'm sure that seminar was awesome.. Keep up the great work!

Jinksee: I bet was fantastic. I'm jealous! :D I so want 'lightroom'. :D

so i finished reading breaking dawn on friday and i just want to know what everyone thought? personally i loved it! the first parts were a little crazy but once it started to all come together around the last 3rd of the book, i just loved it! no spoilers…just opinions on whether you liked it or not! thanks!

Brock: Amanda! between boy-bands and vampires, how do you have any time to make that beautiful photography?

Tiffany Izatt: I am re - reading the first books, so I am not sure yet...

Erin Langford: I am kind of behind the times. I am still reading the third book. Got the fourth lined up though.

silvernic: I try to be negative whenever I can, so here it is:
From an English teacher's point of view, this book truly pains my heart. Terrible, terrible writing.
From a guy's point of view, gag me with a tuning fork.
From a readers point of view, there are so many good books out there, how did this one get to be popular???
I think it all comes down to the fact that I don't understand girls!

Jinksee: Well..I'm going to have to say that I enjoyed this book and the series. I know a lot of people don't like it, and a lot of people do..I am one that does like it. Super Hyped for the movie! :D

Karen Jensen: I loved it! All is well in Forks so I am defiantly happy!

Sherry Ward: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!! I haven't finished reading it yet-I'm taking my time since it's the last one. I thought it was the best one of the series though. What did YOU think about it?

Anna Page Photography: The best out of the 4 books, I think. I agree that the writing itself isn't the best, but the story does keep you turning the pages.

WHOO HOO!!!

anna and kile engagements

August 7, 2008

anna and kile are getting married in october and i shot their engagements at memory grove. these two are so cute and so in love. at the very end of the shoot anna wanted to get in the water for some pictures and as soon as she jumped in she started screaming bloody murder from the cold. i was laughing so hard i could hardley even hold the camera still long enough to shoot. people were staring at us to make sure everything was ok. i am so excited for their wedding! these two are so much fun! enjoy…. oh and thank you so much rebekah westover for the post on your blog about how to get bigger pictures. i have been wondering for so long and now i finally get it! check out this post if you want instructions

Let the countdown begin!

August 6, 2008

when you are waiting for something for so long, it seems like it will never get here. but now i am on a downward countdown of less then a week, hurrah! if i have not officially declared my LOVE for the jonas brothers yet consider this a declaration. call me crazy or childish, whatever, i dont care. heaven knows i hear enough of it from my husband, miley cyrus loving daughter :) and brother in law brock. still love you guys. at least savana is with me. she screams and jumps and almost has a breakdown if she sees the jonas brothers (she does the same thing with dora and disneyland though) but i just love them! so now their new cd comes out in a week and i am so excited. so let the countdown begin… 6 days and counting!

Brock: We all know you love the Jonas Brothers, but would you say you are "Burnin' Up" for them?

Candyce Lewis: Hi! Thank you for the nice comment on my blog. great photos!! I am all about the lens flare right now, I LOVE that picture. I am going to keep reading... so keep posting!

ok, so i shot this incredible wedding clear back at the first of june, and here we are in august and i am finally blogging it. oh well. summer is just getting away from me too dang fast! camille and brad got married on june 11th at the logan temple. it was my first time shooting at the logan temple and it was so amazing! any future brides getting married at the logan temple (or anywhere:) call me!!! my husband knows brad from when they served their missions in new jersey. so when he called me i was thrilled to do their wedding. not only are camille and brad dang good looking, but they are also the sweetest nicest people ever! i only shot the temple portion of their day, but later that night i got to attend their reception as a guest! how often does that happen? and you would have never guessed from just looking at these pictures but it was colder than a warm day in winter. we were all freezing. that is utah for ya! beware of lots of pictures…..

check out these awesome people! they are all my past brides and grooms! heather and jay on the left, and tiffany and derek on the right. i love them all!

Jumping pictures are hilarious to me! I know they are sort of cheesy but I love them!

Erin Langford: Love these. Isn't the Logan temple awesome. Great job.

Shellee Draper: You did a nice job on this wedding! Very cute couple. I love Logan.

Kellee Smith: Ok, so you did such a great job at the Logan Temple! Next time you are in town you need to call me little missy!!!! I would have loved to ran to lunch with you - but I know a wedding day is quite busy!!! Any way, you did a great job

Sherry Ward: I LOVE this temple! These are some great shots! Good work!
