Heather and Rex’s Engagments

September 27, 2007
Wow! I am on a roll. This is the third blog post for me in one week. That is record breaking. I have actually made it a goal to try to blog more. So far so good. I shot Heather and Rex’s engagements a couple of weeks ago up at Snowbain Ski Resort. It is so beautiful and serene up there. I love the atmosphere and the gorgeous views. Heather orignally wanted pictures with the leaves starting to turn colors, but due to the fact that her wedding is the first weekend in October we had to shoot a little early and didn’t quite get the leaves we were hoping for. I think they turned out great anyways! I am super excited for Heather and Rex’s wedding next weekend. I have had so much fun getting to know these two. Enjoy…

Photographs By Tiffany: Great shots Amanda!!! Love the first one and the 4th one and the last one and.... Well all of them!! :)

Kellee Smith: Amanda these are beautiful. The color is just beautiful! I LOVE IT!

Shellee Draper: I really love the feel these pictures have. It shows their personality so much. The hat is great on him. You are awesome.

Crystal: Great job on this session. You can tell they really love each other. I love the B&W too.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

September 25, 2007

I want to wish a very special and happy anniversary to my husband of now 4 years. Time has flown by and I can’t believe how far we have come. In the past 4 years we have moved, bought new cars, had a baby, changed several jobs and started several businesses. It is so crazy to think back on everything and all of the special memories we have together. I am so blessed to be who I am and have the family that I do. I am so lucky to have married into a wonderful family and to have a wonderful family of my own who supports us so much. I want to tell my husband Chris that I love him so much and I am so glad to be married him. Thanks for being who you are and supporting me in all that I do. I love you with all of my heart! Happy Anniversary!

Photographs By Tiffany: Happy Anniversary to you both!!!

ErinL: Congratulations! Four years seems like a long time especially after you have only been married for four months. It sounds like we are in for an adventure. It was great meeting you at the pug meeting.

Shellee Draper: Hey I had to write to you on this one, I am getting ready to post a blog picture of my husband and I for our anniversary! How funny! Ours was this past weekend, on October 6th. Get this, 12 years. . . you make me feel old! Hee Hee.

Lenox…

September 13, 2007

I did pictures of Lenox last week. His parents are me and my husbands very good friends. They helped me redecorate my room last month (thank you, thank you, thank you!) Lenox was not to crazy about the idea of holding still and smiling for the camera so we had to use a little trickery…AKA smarties. He has them in his mouth in most of the pictures. He was so fun and cute though. We had to take quite a few breaks in between shots to get what we wanted but I just love them! Enjoy….

Kellee Smith: These are so beautiful. Look at those eyes holy cow. He is so cute and for not holding still for the camera you captured so many great pictures. Great job!

Photographs By Tiffany: DARLING PHOTOS Amanda!! I LOVE THEM!!!
Love the new set up for the blog too!!

threewinks: What adorable, cute, big eyes! Beautiful. What wonderful moments you have captured.

Shellee Draper: These are great Amanda, I bet mom loved them!

Alisha: WOW...LOVE that hair & those eyes. HOLY COW!!!!!!

Superb shots ;-)

Shellee Draper: She is such a cutie! You did a beatiful job of this.

Lauren and Nolo Engagements

September 12, 2007

Once again I am super behind on blogging! It is the story of my life. Lauren and Nolo are getting married in October. When she booked me she told me that she is a photographer as well. She does more landscapes and detail shots more than portraits. I feel very honored that she booked me. I did Lauren and Nolo’s engagements forever ago out at Antelope Island. Can I just say I love that place. It is so great (minus the smell and bugs of course). When we arrived we were walking out onto the beach and there were 2 coyotes maybe 100 feet away chasing bunnies. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. I felt like I should have been watching the discovery channel instead of in real life. No pictures though, I did not have my telephoto lens with me. Also the wind that night was incredible. It took everything we had to not get hair flying everywhere, which we did anyways, but I loved it! P.S. The sky in these pictures is 100% real. No photoshop needed at all. It was amazing and breathtaking. I have honestly never seen anything more beautiful (besides my children of course). The day of the engagements was super stormy and I thought for a while that we were going to have to reschedule, but the storm passed, minus the wind, and we got this amazingly beautiful sky and clouds. Anyways enjoy….

Kellee Smith: wow, what a sunset! These are amazing - I love the wind and the sky and the beach - seriously looks like California. AMAZING!

Photographs By Tiffany: These are just gorgeous!! WOW!!! Love every single shot from these three posts!! LOVE THEM!!!
Great work Amanda!!!

threewinks: Wow. Could that sunset BE anymore amazing??? I mean, seriously! I also love the 2nd one of them in the tall grass. Fabulous job.

Shellee Draper: oh the sunset and the grass are beautiful! This is a beautiful couple. I love the last shot. They look so natural and it's really nice. You do great work!

Anonymous: It was SOOOO windy. Still love your shots of Nolo and me... The last is one of my favorites. Really love the engagement/guest book. Brought it to the bridal shower right after I picked it up... Everyone loved your pictures. Thanks again and will see you in 10 days. :)

Heather and Jay’s Wedding

September 5, 2007

Heather was referred to me from her friend Natalie, whose wedding I shot last May. I had such a blast with these two from start to finish. Heather and Jay were just so much fun to work with and had no trouble in front of the camera what-so-ever. On the day of the wedding Heather had to be leaving her house at 8am to make it to the temple in time. At 7:40am she decided that she didn’t like her hair and got in the shower. Wow! And needless to say she only left 15 minutes late. What a brave girl! They were married at the Salt Lake Temple and had a luncheon following at the Davis Conference Center. That evening their reception was held in a friend of the family’s beautiful yard. It was amazing! Their wedding was so fantastic and I just loved being a part of it. I got to work with an amazing videographer, Matt with Happily Ever After Video, who made my job so easy! If you need a great videographer give these guys a call. Thanks Heather and Jay and I hope you had a great time in the Virgin Islands! Sorry there are so many pictures. I loved so many of them!

Photographs By Tiffany: These are truly amazing photographs Amanda!!
They are sooo beautiful! Love them!!

erin: These are beautiful photos. You do a great job.
Longtime lurker, first time poster.

Kellee Smith: oh my, as I breezed down through them I tried to pick a favorite and I just couldn't! They all look so amazing. You did a great job. The texture and depth and detial you got in the dress was beautiful. I love them - great job!

Shellee Draper: I love the laughing candids. Beautiful event.

Zach: You're right, Matt does make a wedding photog's job easy. He's a stud.

Elena and Barney’s Wedding

September 4, 2007
Elena and Barney are both originally from Utah, but are currently living in Las Vegas. They had their wedding at the Bountiful Temple. It was such a hot, hot day! I know they were just dying from the heat. It was a very quiet day at the temple. We were the only ones on the entire temple grounds taking pictures, which is such a change from the last couple of weddings I have done at the Bountiful Temple. It was quite nice. Elena and Barney have been so much fun to work with and get to know. I am sad that their wedding is over. I love this industry because I get to meet and get to know so many great people. These two are no exception. Thanks Elena and Barney and I hope you guys had a great time in San Diego!

threewinks: Shellee, these are beautiful! I think this wedding is one of your best I've seen. You are amazing.

Photographs By Tiffany: Amanda ~
