One more to go…..

July 27, 2007

This is my last post of the day :). I did these engagements last Saturday for Shanna and David up at Powder Mountain Ski Resort. David is my cousin and it was really fun to work with these two. They have been together for a long long time. I am not sure how many years but I am guessing like 5 or 6. Shanna was so cute and laughing the whole time. Their wedding is not until December, but it will be fun one. P.S. Be carful if you shoot at Powder Mountain. I sat on a sticker bush trying to capture picture #9. OUCH!!!! Moral of the story, look back before sitting in strange places!!!

Another Beautiful Bride

July 27, 2007

Karaline is my brother in law’s sister. I am doing her wedding next week at the Bountiful Temple. We did her bridals last week at Layton park. I had never shot there before but it was a really great place. Karaline is so sweet and such a pleasure to work with and she looked so beautiful. I am super excited for her wedding!!!!

Photographs By Tiffany: More really great shots!!
I think 2, 3 and 4 are my favorites! I just love them all!
Thanks for posting so many fun photos!

threewinks: These are beautiful! I especially love the one of her lying down with the rose petals on her dress (I think #6 if I counted right) and the last one of her on the bridge. Fantastic!

Shellee Draper: These are so great. I love the black and white one with her flowers by her face! Good work as always!

Jinksee: Is that not the prettiest dress you've ever seen!! Mercy!! What a stunning bride-to-be! :D

Beautiful Bride

July 27, 2007
Ashlee and Matt are getting married tomorrow (I am so behind on blogging) at Snowbasin. I did Ashlee’s bridals a couple of weeks ago at Jensen Nature Park. Ashlee was beautiful, her dress was gorgeous and we had a fantastic sunset. What a perfect night!

Photographs By Tiffany: Beautiful shots! I think my favorite one is the 6th one down with more of the fence and she is looking off towards the sunset~
Gorgeous photos!

threewinks: She is gorgeous! I love her dress. My favorite is #4. I think the sky looks incredible. You are awesome, Amanda.

Kellee Smith: What a beautiful sunset and an amazing sky! Great work! The detail shots are really beautiful.

Shellee Draper: I like so many of these but I think my favorite is the last one because you can see her freckles on her back. I really like it! Good job.

Jinksee: These are such great memories for her. I bet she loved them. :D

On the 12th of July I had Elaina and Jake’s wedding at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple (I finally learned how to spell it!!) I didn’t do engagements or bridals for these two either but I felt like I knew them so well. They were such a fun couple and so willing to do any of my crazy ideas. I absolutely loved working with these too. I loved getting to know their families. They were all so nice and accomodating to me. They went out of their way to make sure I had food and was comfortable. It wasn’t necessary but it was so sweet and thoughtful. Thanks for such a wonderful wedding. I enjoyed every minute of it!!! I wish you two the best of luck. You guys deserve the best!!!

Photographs By Tiffany: OOOOH!! I love these!!
They are so great! I love the field shot with the Temple behind!! And the last one and the bench one... and..... and... and....

07-07-07

July 27, 2007
Ashlee and Keith were my lucky 777 couple. They got married at the Bountiful Temple and had their reception at Ivy Lane in Ogden. Ivy lane has a special place in my heart (it is where me and my husband had our wedding reception). I loved working with these two. I didn’t do bridals or engagements for them, so this was our first time working together, but I felt like I knew these two for years. Ashlee was is so spunky and has such a fun personality. I am so lucky to have been able to be a part of their so special day.

Photographs By Tiffany: These are wonderful too! Great variety of shots.
I love the "flowers in focus" shots at the Temple!

threewinks: Love the shot with the temple in the background and the flowers in the foreground. Where is that taken, btw? I love seeing new views. The 2 of them inside by the wall are fantastic, too.

I am so behind on blogging. I have just totally neglected my blog. I will try to be better, so get ready for a ton of posts…. I shot Chelsey and Richies wedding clear back on July 6th. They got married at the Tuscany Gardens in Roy. I always love shooting there. Debbie is so nice and makes the experience so enjoyable for everyone. The weather was HOT! HOT! HOT! I think it was about 103 that day. Chelsey had always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, so that is exactly what she did. When Chelsey walked down the aisle and on her daddy daughter dance, I don’t think there was a dry eye there. It was so emotional. I am so glad I got to be a part of their special day. Thanks Chelsey, Richie and Families.

Photographs By Tiffany: YAY!!! I am so glad you got to post some things on your blog! It is hard to keep on top of huh!!
These are really great shots Amanda! You captured so much emotion! Wonderful shots!

Kellee Smith: I LOVE these shots, but I especially love the one of them eating the cake. Great Job!

naomi newborn « Amanda Abel Photography Blog: [...] baby naomi.  isn’t she precious!?!  she is the little sweetheart of chelsey and richie, one of my 2007 weddings.  i love the cute tutu and headband chelsey’s mom made for her.  [...]

Heather and Jay Bridals

July 17, 2007
This was the first time I have done bridals where the groom comes along. I loved it! It was so much fun. We went around downtown Ogden and the Union Station. Heather and Jay are so much fun to be around and they are both so dang good looking! They were both so willing to do anything that I asked them to. That always helps make for an easy shoot! I had a blast and cannot wait for their wedding in August. I have posted a lot of pictures, but I couldn’t help myself. I just loved them all!

Photographs By Tiffany: Wow Amanda!!
You really did a fantastic job on these! I really like the variety and the composition!
Wonderful shots!

Jinksee: What great colors!! Awesome photos! :D

threewinks: Amanda, these are so fun! I love the idea of the groom coming along. Fantastic work!

lauramkelley: These are beautiful. Well done. That church is gorgeous. The last one is soo fun. Great job.

Kellee Smith: Beautiful shots Amanda! I love the locations, you are doing such a great job with your recent stuff. I really love them all!!!

Shellee Draper: Amanda,

You did such a nice job of these. I'm so impressed! The color is beautiful. I love the one on the stairs.

Dustin Izatt: In my humblest opinion ever, these are pretty much the best bridals ever shot in the history of mankind, you rocked the Union Station and got some amazing images here. You are an inspiration to us all. Give brother abel a big pinch on the cheek for me, thanks :)
