Fun at Lagoon!!!

June 28, 2007

Now this is not something I would normally do, but I got talked into it. My husband, kids and I went to Lagoon last night with my dad, brother and his friends. They all wanted to do one of those old time photo’s. Me and my husband said we would sit out but they insisted we join them. Look at my daughter, bottom left getting into character. She cracks me up. And I never think I look good in pictures. I would rather be on the other side of the camera! So here are a few funny pictures. Go ahead and get a good laugh.

Top Row: Casey (brother’s friend), Tim (My Dad), Zach (brother’s friend)
Bottom Row: Jayde (My daughter), Chris (My Husband),
Trent (My Brother), Amanda (Me), Savana (My Daughter).

Crystal: Oh how fun! I bet you are glad you had them done now aren't you? You can't always be on the other side of the camera, lol

Kellee Smith: That does look like so much fun!!! Thanks for sharing...

Jennifer: oh how cool, I love these! I remember doing this type of a photoshoot with my family when I was young. I love this style very awesome!!

Shellee Draper: I LOVE the pics! How fun. We have done this tons in our family and they are the BEST! We look back and laugh everytime we see them.

lauramkelley: Cute Cute Cute

Elena and Barney are getting married in August. They are both originally from Utah but they currently live in Las Vegas. They were up here for the weekend and I did both their engagements and Elena’s bridals. Unfortunately, I won’t be posting the bridals until after the wedding. But here are few of their engagement pictures:

Photographs By Tiffany: Oh, I love these. The second one is my favorite. The one of their backs ~ :) Great job Amanda!! Beautiful Shots!

Jinksee: Ohh..now you're just teasing us..but ok..I'll patiently wait until the wedding photos. I'm sure they're great, just like these engagement ones. :D

This is another wedding from 2 weeks ago. I have just been so busy, I have totally neglected my blog. Charity and Jason’s wedding was at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake. It was a beautiful ceremony. Their reception was at the Hilton in downtown SLC. Charity and Jason are from Alabama but they came to Utah for their wedding because Jason’s family is all from here. We did Charity’s bridals before the ceremony at Memory Grove. Thanks Heather from Creating Sensations for referring Charity to me!!!

Photographs By Tiffany: Very Beautiful Shots! I love them! I love the ceremony shots from above with all of the flower petals!

Jinksee: Sweet, sweet photos. Where were you when I got married!? ;) The bride is so beautiful..her dress..WOW! :D

Kellee Smith: These are great! I love the one from up above in the church. Was the lighting tricky in there? Because you did an amazing job...

Shellee Draper: Beautiful Wedding. I love the shots from the balcony so much!

lauramkelley: These are beautiful. What a great shot of the church behind. What a great church. I am certain you love shooting there.

Katie and Eric Wedding

June 28, 2007

I am way behind on posting. I shot Katie and Eric’s wedding 2 weeks ago. It is was a beautiful and amazing wedding. Katie and Eric have been together for 11 years. Everyone was so happy for this day to finally come. There was so much excitement and emotion throughout the entire thing. They got married on Thursday and had their reception on Friday. On Thursday after the Temple they left on a horse drawn carriage and on Friday they left on Eric’s motorcycle. It was amazing! We had so much fun together shooting at lots of different locations around temple square, so I have quite a few pictures to post:

Photographs By Tiffany: These are just amazing photos Amanda!!! I love the one of the temple reflection, that is one of the nicest ones I have seen done of the reflection there!! And I love the bouquet shot where the bouquet is in focus and they are in the background! What a great job you did on all of these!!
PS I love the new picture on your flash page :)

Jinksee: Wow! These are fantastic photos! :D What awesome arrangement. They look so happy, and you captured that perfectly. :D

Angie Penrose: These photos are so great! You did not skip one single detail. I love the first one and the temple reflection is gorgeous. That is such a great location to take photos. I miss it! :) Great job!

Shellee Draper: Wow, great color! I really like the carriage and the motorcycle shots. Good work.

Here is another Antelope Island shoot. Only this time there were more bugs. There were so many bugs they could barely stop swatting them away long enough to take a picture. But we all survived and got some awesome shots. Jay was such a romantic the entire shoot. He wrote H+J in our sand heart and he was so cute and sweet to Heather. What a lucky girl. I am so pleased with the way that these turned out and I am so excited to work with these two. We are doing Heather’s bridals next month and Jay is coming along. I can’t wait. It will be so much fun. These two are so fun to be around and I am so lucky to be their photographer.

Photographs By Tiffany: Oh Amanda!! These are just gorgeous! I think they are my favorite that you have done yet!! GREAT JOB!!
Gorgeous photos!!

silvernic: Wow! Great shots and great colors!

Shellee Draper: Wow! What a great engagement. They are going to love these! I like so many of them! The silhouette is gorgeous and the grass in the background with the sand at their feet. You really nailed this. I want to come shoot up north! Redrock anyone? Yeah, I didn't think so. :) Kidding.

Jinksee: Love, love LOVE these photos!! :D What amazing color and set-up! Girl..you're awesome! :D

Dustin Izatt: Amanda, I am speechless. These shots are incredible and so beautiful. You rocked the house with your mad photo skills.

Karaline is another sister of my brother in law’s. I just did their other sister Katie’s wedding last thursday and will be posting those pictures as well. Oh I have been so busy!!! Anyway… I had an absolute blast doing Karaline and Jake’s engagements. First we went to Jensen Nature Park in Syracuse. Then on to Antelope Island. On the way out to Antelope Island there were a ton of seagulls. They would just fly in front of my car without a care in the world. I thought I was going to hit one for sure. Karaline was a little dissappointed that there wasn’t a suset that night, but I love how the dark cloudy sky turned out. Did i mention the bugs and the smell? If you have ever been to Antelope Island you will know exactly what I mean. After we got in the water my legs were so itchy from the salt I had to go straight home and take a shower. Besides all of that, this was such a fun shoot and Karaline and Jake are such a fun couple. It was all totally worth it for the pictures we got! Everytime I would tell them to kiss Jake would giggle and blush. It was so cute. I am so excited to do thier wedding in August!!!

Photographs By Tiffany: Oh I LOVE these ones too!! They are such nice photos!! Amazing lighting and composition on all of them!! Amazing job! :)

Shellee Draper: Amanda I like the style you are getting on these engagements. Very different. I HAVE been to antelope island and I still remember that smell. Your car has GOT to be starting to smell like that! :)

Jinksee: I haven't even heard of this place before, but fromyour photos..I can see that this is a place I want to visit. :D (I'll bring bug spray..:D) What a fun couple. I love the shot of them on the fence. Perfect. :D

Hilary and Jeff got married on June 8th at Ivy Lane. Hilary looked so gorgeous! And Jeff didn’t look too bad himself :) It was such a beautiful ceremony. I loved working with these two. They were so much in love and so comfortable with each other. That always makes my job easy!!! I am so honored to have been a part of their special day. Thanks Hilary and Jeff!

Photographs By Tiffany: Love, Love, Love them all!!
Thanks for posting, I have been checking the blog a bunch! It's the hardest thing to keep up on huh!! Beautiful photos once again!

Jinksee: Beautiful wedding photos! :D That bride is a knock-out! Her new hubby is handsome, and just looking at them, you can tell they're SO in love. It looks like it was a wonderful day..awesome photos! :D

I have been so busy these last 2 weeks with weddings, engagements and being a mom, that I have neglected my blog. So here is what I have been up to…..

Oh my have I ever been busy! I did Chelsey’s bridals last Saturday. She wanted her bridals in downtown Salt Lake and I was so glad! I love shooting urban locations. We had so much fun. I took her on a little adventure and she was so tough! She didn’t complain about walking in heels, not once. What a trooper. I would’ve been whining, that’s for sure. And I swear every car that passed, whistled or cat called out their window’s at this beautiful bride. I am sure she was just lovin’ it! Also I have been playing around with natural lighting a lot lately and I just love the dramatic effect that it produces. All of these shots are natural light and I just love it. I can’t get enough of it! This bridals session was a blast for me and I have a lot of pictures to post, so bear with me…

This is one of my very favorites…

And another favorite….

I was posing her for the above shot when we had this guy ran through the background. And I mean he was really running. I am surprised I even got this shot. I just had to post this because it makes me laugh. Good old downtown Salt Lake!

silvernic: I love your favorites as well. Very nice shots! I also like the 11th one down--what a great look.

Photographs By Tiffany: Oh, I just love these shots. That doorway is awesome and the lighting is so nice in the one where it is so subtle! These are really great, I am sure the bride loves them!!!

Jinksee: Wow!! So beautiful! SLC is a breathtaking place for photos. :D Nice job!

Shellee Draper: Wow I really like these! You do such beautiful work. Ok, the guy running through is hilarous too! I love looking at your website!

Kellee Smith: Great job. I really like #4 #5 and #6 because the skin tones are so beautiful and the orange is so increadably viberant. I also love #8, the lighting is awsome. They are all sooooo good...

Angie Penrose: These are really great photos! I bet she was so happy. Love your favorite one too!

Alisha: Your natural lighting looks great here! She is a BEAUTIFUL bride & I LOVE her dress!!!!!

Hill Family

June 7, 2007

The Hill’s are some more of our neighbors and I just love this family !They are so much fun to be around. Cindy (the mom) kept apologizing about their kids being crazy the whole time, but that is what made it so much fun. I got some great shots of them just being themselves, which in my opinion are the best kind. The kids are just so cute and not shy in front of the camera at all. Don’t they all look so darn good together!!! Hallie, the cute little red-head, is my daughter Jayde’s age. They go to church and dance and soon kindergarten together. I had such a blast with this family. We went out for ice cream afterwards but instead of taking more pictures I had to chase my 1 year old Savana around and keep her in line :). Sorry there are a lot of pictures. I just loved them all!

Photographs By Tiffany: Amanda!! I LOVE these!! The colors are so perfect! I love 3 and 4 of the 2 kids and the ones of their partial face individual shots!! Great Job!! The last 2 group shots are so cute and fun!! I love all of these!

threewinks: Wow, I gotta say, that red-headed girl is SO FREAKIN' CUTE! What a cute family. I love that last shot, too. Nice job.

Kellee Smith: I love number 3. This is such a pretty location you take people to. Great work...

Jinksee: These are such fun photos! :D I love it that they are laughing and having a great time with you. Great job!

Shellee Draper: The color and posing on these are great! I really like the bold different colors. The little girl with the red hair is so cute too! Great great job.
