Happy one year Abi and Dallas!!!!!
April 28, 2007Oh my goodness, how time does fly! I cannot believe it has been one year since Abi and Dallas’ wedding. In fact, I am a day late. It seems like it was just yesterday! I just have to thank Dallas and Abi. You two are wonderful. I really appreciate all that you have done for us. I would not be where I am today in this business without you. I am forever grateful. Thanks for being such great friends and we hope to see you soon. I hope this past year has been a great one for you!!! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!!! We love you guys!!!!!

Jenessa and Gary Tie the Knot!!!!!
April 26, 2007I shot Jenessa and Gary’s wedding last friday at the Bountiful Temple and believe it or not there was still snow on the ground! But there were lots of beautiful flowers also so it felt like the Spring wedding they were wanting. I had so much fun shooting their pictures! Jenessa is the sweetest girl and they are such a beautiful couple. Jenessa’s little sister was so emotional all day about the whole wedding. It was so sweet. There are so many of my favorites, I had a hard time picking, but here a few.

Angela’s Bridals
April 25, 2007I shot bridals for Angela on Saturday. She was so sweet and fun to be around. I can’t wait for their wedding on May 19. Their ceremony is going to be at Mt. Ogden park and then the reception afterwards outside at The Union Station in Ogden. It is going to be so beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.
kelleemarie: I love her dress. Anything other than a Cinderella style dress seems to catch my eyes these days. She is a cute cute cute bride!
NEW WEBSITE!!!!
April 23, 2007It has been a while since I have written on my blog. I am getting a new website up in the next week or so!!! I am so excited. It will include lots of new features and a completely new layout. I will also be adding some cool new products including a Kingston digtal flush mount album. As a result of the new product offerings, my packages will be changing as well, with the release of my new website. I had a busy weekend shooting bridals for Angela and also a wedding for Jenessa and Gary. Check back in the next day or so to see some pictures from these shoots. Also I am considering changing my business name to Amanda Abel Photography. Let me know what your thoughts are on this????? Amanda Abel Photography or Simply Beautiful Photography?????

Misty and Jared’s Wedding

Misty and Jared’s wedding was on March 31 at the Tuscany Gardens in Roy. I always love shooting there because Debbie is so sweet and fun and the facitlity is just so gorgeous. Misty and Jared have been together for 9 years You could tell they were still so much in love. They also have a 9 year old daughter Madison. She was so sweet and so emotional after the ceremony. They were such a cute little family!!! Misty and Jared had such great and fun personalities. They were both so sweet and I loved working with their families. I have known Misty’s aunt Lola for a few years and it was so great to see her and her daughters again. Not to mention all of the little kids there were so cute and such little models in front of the camera. I always love capturing the joy and excitement of the kids at weddings. They make it that much more fun. Thanks so much Misty and Jared!!!!

Jenessa’s Bridals

I had such a blast doing Jenessa’s bridals in Salt Lake City. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is such a sweetheart. I can’t wait for her wedding April 20th. Here are a few of my favorites from her shoot.
Amy N: These are awesome! I love your colors especially the colorful walls.
Dustin Izatt: These are all that and a bag of skittles. These are the hottest things I have ever seen since the creation of the sun.

My First Post!!!!

This is my very first time posting on my blog. I feel kind of silly about this whole thing. But here goes nothing… I have 2 beautiful daughters Jayde and Savana. Jayde is 5 years old and is such a sweetheart. She is so loving and caring and cautious. Which brings me to Savana. Savana is wild, crazy and untamed. We frequently find her on tables or jumping on beds. (Oh yeah, she is only one and a half.) She is our kid that is making us wonder if we want anymore kids!! But, she is a sweetheart too. I have posted a few pictures of them. Me and my husband, Chris have been married for almost 4 years now. He is such a wonderful dad and so supportive of me. I love wedding photography. I love the excitement and the special feelings that come from weddings and I love to be there to capture every moment of it. I love meeting and getting to know new people. It is so great being able to do something you love.
