the kids are finally out of school and now it is time to play (and work 10 times more than normal).  i promised them that if they are very good girls and let me work when i need to, that  we would try and do something fun almost everyday, even if it is something as simple as going to the park and having a picnic.  so that is what we did today.   i had 2 shoots this afternoon so we couldn’t do anything too outrageous, but i did take my camera and get some cute shots of my girls playing in the sand.  i love them so much!!!  i am the luckiest mom alive to have the two most beautiful and special girls on this planet!!!

tomorrow we are going to the movies so probably no pictures from that :)  but i will continue to post pictures throughout our summer adventures!!!

in december i had my brother in law brock take snap some pictures of us for our family christmas cards.   aren’t my girls so dang cute!?!?  i am so excited for this year!  i can feel that it is going to be awesome!  hope you all have a great new year.  i have some absolutely INCREDIBLE weddings coming up and i am so excited to shoot all of my fun brides!

i only have 3 resolutions this year so hopefully it will make them easier to keep.

1-be more organized with my time (if i am more organized with my time, i will be able to change other aspects of my life.  i am a huge procrastinator and feel like i waste a lot of time doing unneccesary things.  i can be a better mom and wife and have more time for myself to take care of myself and do things that i love like reading and spending more time with the people i love, if i better organized my time)

2- be more organzied with my money (this will require me to do something that i hate and that is cooking more meals at home and taking time to find and use coupons.   not only will that be a better way to save money but will also be healthier.  i hate cooking so it is easy to eat out and it is amazing how much money you can spend eating out and don’t even realize it!)

and

3-keep going to the gym and feeling awesome! ( i have gotten into a good habit a  few months ago of going to the gym 4 or so times a week and i love it! it gives me a chance to take care of myself and feel good and also have some me time.  i think that is very important as a mom to take time out for yourself and love yourself. i usually make goals like i want to lose 10 pounds but i know if i keep going to the gym and working out, i am going to feel so much better in the long run then putting unneccesary pressure on myself.  i am comfortable with how i look so i just want to keep feeling great! ) 

those should be pretty easy to keep, don’t ya think?

my girls all dressed up tonight!  savana was dorothy from the wizard of oz and jayde was a fairy.  i had so much fun taking them trick or treating.  i love halloween!

my sweet savana is 4 today.  i cannot believe how these years have flown by!  it makes me so sad to see her grow up so fast, but so happy to see how wonderful of a girl she is  growing up to be!  savana is my little firecracker.  she is so wild and crazy and unpredictable!  she definetely keeps me running!  i love her so much and am the luckiest person alive to have such a wonderful and amazing little angel!!!

savana started pre-school last week and jayde started 2nd grade today.  what?!?!  how did they get this big so fast?  it is just crazy!  they are both so excited for their school years and i am actually going to have about 9 hours a week alone!!  that is the part i am excited about.  i hate them growing up and getting bigger, but it will be nice to get work done without feeling guilty

* I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT CHLOES “DAD” CAME AND GOT HER TODAY.  HE HAD BEEN OUT OF TOWN AND HADN’T SEEN THE SIGNS UNTIL TODAY.  WE WILL MISS HER BUT WERE HAPPY TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HELP OUT SUCH A SWEET PUPPY.  THERE WERE SOME TEARS FROM JAYDE BUT WE KNOW SHE IS HAPPIER WITH HER FAMILY*

we found the sweetest dog ever on tuesday and are desperately trying to find her momma.  we think her name is chloe. we found her on 6000 south in roy utah running across the busy road and railroad tracks.  being the sap that i am, i picked her up because i was worried she was going to get hit.  i called the vet and they told us her name and tried to call the number they had on file, but it was a wrong number.  i took her in to get her scanned for a microchip and they couldn’t find one.  if anyone has any info at all, please email me or call me.  801.710.9646 thanks!!!!  she is so sweet and i am sure someone is extremely worried about her.

i just wanted to wish my husband a very happy birthday today.  i love him so much and he deserves nothing but the best! thank you chris for always taking care of me and the girls.  we love you so much! now you are an old man. haha!

i just wanted to wish all of the dads out there,  especially my dad and husband, a very happy fathers day!  i have the best dad ever and am so much like him in so many ways.  i love you dad and hope your day is the best!  to chris,  thank you so much for being a wonderful dad to my beautiful little girls.  chris really is so amazing and ALWAYS puts us before him in everything that he does.  he treats my girls (and me) like the princesses they are and he is so protective of them.  i feel bad for the guys who fall in love with them.  ha!  so thank you chris and dad,  for being so amazing!!
