heather used to work with my hubby (chris) and is also a photographer herself.  she had me do her pictures about a year ago and wanted some updated ones!  i love working with these two.  they are so natural and cute together!

whenever someone mentions to me that they read my blog, i cringe.  i am so horrible at keeping up with it when i get this busy  which is pretty much every year between the months of  april and september.  so forgive me!  but i guess the good news out of all of this is 1. i am blogging now and 2. i  have been SO busy!  this is definitely the best year i have ever had in terms of business.  thank you! thank you! thank you!  to all of my wonderful clients!!!!  i would not be where i am without you all!

this is lenox and eden, our best friends tyson and anne’s  kids.  aren’t they SO cute!  anne has such incredible style.  don’t you just LOVE their outfits?!?!  SO dang cute!! these are definitely some of my favorite kids pictures i have ever done!

i shot these pictures for an upcoming cd jerald is working on. you can check out his work here.  he is an amazing pianist and i defintely recommend checking his work out!  i had such a great time with jerald and his wife suzanne.  they lived in our neighborhood a few years back and i loved being able to catch up with them again.  and don’t they make such a cute couple!!  i am excited to do their family pictures in the spring.  they have the most adorable little girl!  let me know what you think!!  oh and don’t mind the haze in some of the shots.  it was one of those nasty utah days

this is my good friend’s baby, eden.  isn’t she so precious?!?!  i love her to pieces.  she was awake during the entire session until i took down all of my stuff then she went to sleep but i love her beautiful eyes.  she is the best baby and i had so much fun shooting her pictures!!

melissa is a good friend of mine and also a photographer!  you can check out her work at www.folksphoto.com.  i first met melissa almost 3 years ago when i shot her wedding.  i was thrilled when she asked me to do her pictures for her website.  and don’t ask where we did them because we just drove around salt lake and stopped at random places.  it was so awesome!  since then melissa has up and moved to california and i miss hanging out with her.  but thank goodness for facebook, so we can stay in touch!  love ya girl!!!

this is the last session i shot in elko.  this is spencer and he is the youngest kid in the family.  he wasn’t entirely thrilled with getting his pictures done but what teenage boy is?  i am so happy with how these all turned out and we will defintely be taking another trip to elko sometime.  especially if savana gets her way

i shot stephanie’s pictures while we were in elko and totally loved the way they turned out!  she is so beautiful and such a great model!  plus there were so many amazing places to shoot at in downtown eko.  we just drove around and stopped where ever we thought looked good.  it was so much fun!!!  let me know what you think!!

when me and my family went out to elko the main reason for our going is that stephen is a senior in high school this year and needed senior pictures.  i love seniors so i was way excited!  let me know what you think!!

  my family and i went out to elko nevada in september for a little vacation and to take pictures for my husbands cousin’s family.  we had so much fun!  these guys are awesome to be around and now practically every day savana asks me when we can go back to elko!  i also did pictures for each of the kids and will be blogging those next.  let me know what you think!!!

 this is my nephew taggart.  aren’t i lucky to have the cutest boy ever to take pictures of?!?   he is so funny!  we got a total of about 5 shots with these balloons until they flew away.  he was so shocked he just kept saying “uh-oh”  but the few that we did get are so cute!  then the rest of the time he just wanted to run.  he seriously did not stop the entire time, so i had to get a little bit creative with these shots.  i love the way they turned out though!  enjoy!!!
